Be Social Project is a non-profit organisation working in Development Cooperation in Lamu, Kenya, to improve the quality of life of children with disabilities. We do this through education, nutrition, physiotherapy, art and vocational training.

At Be Social Project, we are committed to professional and responsible volunteering. We believe that a volunteer’s work must have a real impact, which is why our programme is community-focused. We aim to share knowledge and train the local team so that what is learned continues to benefit the children and their families long after you have left. At the same time, we want your experience to be clear, well-organised, and to allow you to apply your skills in a real working environment. For us, volunteering is not just an experience, but an opportunity to share and learn from a culture different from your own.
