Access to education in Lamu is not always guaranteed. Many children are unable to attend school due to a lack of resources to cover enrollment fees, uniforms, school supplies, or— in the case of boarding schools— accommodation.
Be Social Project’s Solidarity Scholarships Program was created to remove these barriers and ensure that more students can learn, grow, and build a better future.
With each solidarity scholarship, we do more than cover a student’s basic expenses — we provide stability, dignity, and the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education.
