In Lamu, access to medical care is very limited. Many children with disabilities do not receive regular check-ups or the treatments they need to improve their quality of life. At Be Social Project, we launched the Health Project to bridge this gap and ensure that they receive essential and life-saving care.

Through this project, we provide:

  • Regular medical care, including check-ups and health screenings to detect problems early.

  • Medicines and treatments for common illnesses, helping to prevent complications that can be serious during childhood.

  • Referrals to specialists in local or regional hospitals when more advanced care is needed, such as surgeries or orthopedic prosthetics.

  • Emergency medical support, covering transportation and immediate care in critical situations.
