Jane is 14 years old and has hemiparesis on her left side. When we began physiotherapy, she discovered that she could also trust that side of her body: first came steadier steps, then the confidence to use both hands.

In the weaving workshop, she made her first basket. It was crooked and unfinished… but it was beautiful. We cried with emotion. Her friend Florence made a perfect basket, and Jane told me, “I’m going to make baskets as beautiful as Florence’s.”

Today, Jane weaves incredible baskets—the ones we use in the gym to store equipment. Her story reminds us that love, motivation, and feeling supported truly change lives. Thank you to everyone who makes real opportunities possible for girls like her.
